There are times when we can exult in the coming together of the pieces of our lives. Beauty and satisfaction can be found in even the simplest of fruitions, a clean room, a newly made bed, a pile of clean, folded washing, saying no and meaning it.
Like all the pieces in this series. There’s a reframing of trauma here – how we can come to look at ourselves as a beautiful entity, as a survivor with the capability to see, with empathy, the softness in ourselves and the strength and resilience it has taken to achieve this place. A simple, symbolic emblem that encapsulates the wonder of hope as seen by those who have also seen hopelessness.
